PRACTICALLY SHAMELESS PRESS RELOCATES TO ALBANY PARK

Practically Shameless Press is the publisher of Barry's psychological memoir "Practically Shameless" which appeared weekly on Amazon.com's Bestseller list of books on Jungian psychology for more than a year following its publication in February 2008.

The book is available in paperback and audio CD editions from the Practically Shameless Press online store. New and used copies of both editions are also for sale at Amazon.com.

At the Practically Shameless Press website, readers will also find excerpts from the book, a synopsis, study guides, reviews, reader testimonials, and portions of taped interviews with the author's late father, Glenview resident John Barry, whose service in the Marines in the South Pacific during WWII is recounted in the book and to whom "Practically Shameless" is dedicated.

Author Alyce Barry grew up in Glenview, a suburb of approximately 40,000 residents north of Chicago. After living for some years on the east coast, she returned to Glenview with her husband and daughter in 1986, where she began work on "Practically Shameless" in 1999.
